The il SALAME COTTO of about 1.2 kg, is a typical product of northern Italy and is characterized by a sweet and tasty taste. Pork meat is ground, flavored with typical tanning and stuffed into inedible casings. The product is cooked, then cooled and vacuum-packed, to better maintain its organoleptic properties.
RECIPE: il SALAME COTTO is excellent consumed with mashed potatoes or lentils in winter, but it becomes a tantalizing summer appetizer if served at room temperature cut into a knife into thick slices or cubes with the accompaniment of vegetables. It can also be a valid alternative to the more classic "bread and salami" if cut into thin slices ... of course always accompanied by a glass of good wine.
