Sausages and sausages “punta di coltello”: the union between tradition and excellence

Uncured sausages lean, soft and bright red, reminiscent of the cut of meat made "knife" by butchers once.
The line “Punta di Coltello” by Effesalumi is made with selected pork meat "Origin: Italy" which are then ground with a particular grain, greater than normal pork sausage. The ground so obtained is flavored with a very light tanning, scented with white wine, which gives Punta di coltello a delicate flavor, much appreciated by consumers. For who loves the most decisive taste, a spicy variant is also produced. The filling takes place strictly in natural casing: sausages in natural casing of the calibre 24/26 and sausages in natural casing of the calibre 38/40.

The products of the Punta di Coltello range are lean, soft and bright red. They are excellent eaten cooked in a pan or grilled, or simply enjoyed on a slice of bread.
In addition, they also meet the needs of all consumers because they are allergen-free (gluten-free, lactose-free, milk-free), colourless and free of preservatives.

All these characteristics make Punta di Coltello a niche product that over the years has gained a good market position among the Effesalumi seasoned sausages, until it landed on the shelves of large retailers. To confirm the positive trend and the growing success of the line, might be enough saying that customers recognize more and more the quality of the product, confirmed by increase orders.
Among the reasons of good results of the range product, also the diversity of formats and weighs: offering a product in different trays which meets the needs of various customers. In fact, we find the Punta di coltello packed in trays in protective atmosphere of about 400 grams ready for free consumption, but also in trays of about 1.5 kg and 3 kg for catering and portioners.
